The family of ECHO is starting a 40-day fast on 10 November 2012.
The focus of our prayers will be: Gen. 26:1-25, Matt. 9:33-38 and John 4:35.
“I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”
*These 40 days will be a blessed time to seek the face of the Lord diligently and feel his presence daily.
*We will pray that we may know more Jesus Christ, that our lives may become a true reflection of our Lord and Saviour; that the Spirit of the Living God may transform us into the true image of our Lord (Phil. 3:7-11; 2 Cor. 3:18; Phil. 2:5).
*We will pray the Lord to open our eyes to see things from his perspective and not from our natural eyes or present circumstances.
*We will pray for sevenfold restoration of what the thief had stolen (Prov. 6:31).
*We shall commit ourselves, our families, our beloved ones, the Ministry, the Body of Christ and the world nations into the hands of Almighty for a bountiful harvest, filled with that peace of the Lord which surpasses all understanding (John14:27; Phil. 4:7).
* We will also focus on the lost souls and pray for the Lord to harvest them into His eternal Kingdom, by sending us and many other workers into His harvest field. (Matt. 9:33-38; John 4: 35).
N.B.: 1) Make sure to set aside enough time during the day to have quality fellowship with the Lord. It may be done individually, at church or with a friend and family. Listen much and read your Bible a lot. The Lord will speak to you.
2) We will send the prayer points on a weekly basis.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
Together in His Service,
Apostle Trice Shumbusho

Day 3: Stand in warfare prayer: -All the injustice, the diseases, the ignorance, the hatred, the poverty, all the misery you see around you and everywhere in the world have spiritual ramifications.
-Take this whole day to stand in warfare prayer against the rulers, the authorities, the powers and the spiritual forces of evil in the dark world and the heavenly realms. Destroy their powers and cancel their plans against you, your family, your church, your community and your nations. (Eph. 6: 12).

May you have a wonderful time in God’s presence.
WEEK 2: Worry and Fear-killer week
Day 1: Feelings of worry, fear, doubts and unbelief indicate our lack of trust in the power, love and faithfulness of our God.
-Identify your sources of concern: Health issues, money problems, family difficulties, etc. Look at them with the eyes of the spirit and find out what the Word of God tells you about them.
-Find out the promises of God concerning those issues and appropriate them with boldness.
-Pray for yourself, so that the Spirit of God to remove such negative feelings.
Day 2: -Continue to pray for yourself, speaking to those stubborn spirits identified above: fear, doubt, unbelief, etc., those spirits which cause you doubt whether God hears your prayers and whether he is able and willing to help you. Cast down all those imaginations. (2 Cor. 10:4-5)
-Pray for God to give you the spirit of a Kingdom seeker so that you may worry less and trust him more with expectations of blessings. (Matt. 6:33).
– Pray to for God to help you pursue his presence, to make Jesus Christ and his word the top priority in your life.
-Pray to have rest in the Lord no matter the circumstances you might be going through (Heb. 4:10).
